Sense-Aware Lab for Interaction Design, Interactive Data Sonification, Physical Computing, Pervasive Computing, New Musical Interfaces + Experimental Sonic Interaction, Wearable Computing and Situated Media Installation. UTS Design CB06.05.548.
Our research interests include aesthetic and inteactive data sonification focusing on the key areas of eco-data and bio-data. We investigate persuasive representation and gestural, multi-touch and physical interfaces for user-centred interaction with sonification, sound and music.

Kirsty Beilharz (gestural interaction, interactive sonification, new interfaces for musical expression), Samuel Ferguson (audio concatenation, interactive sonification, acoustics), Jeremiah Nugroho (aesthetics and usability in wearable computing, cyborg technologies), Claudia Alessia Calo (user experience evaluation), Roger Mills (networked musical improvisation), Vedad FamourZadeh (auditory flânerie, sonic installation, generative and Game Theory structures in contemporary electronic music), Poppi Doser (the sonic 'everyday', sound ecology).
